Stackpole Walled Gardens
Pembrokeshire Mencap Ltd is the local charity responsible for management and operation of Stackpole Walled Gardens. The Trustees would like to see more people involved with the charity.
This might be as simple as expressing views to a member of staff or a trustee or taking time to attend the AGM and having a say in what we are doing.
To be a member of Pembrokeshire Mencap Ltd, it is required that you support the objectives of the charity as set out in the Constitution and pay an annual membership fee of £5.
The Trustees are keen that the Walled Gardens remain a benefit to Pembrokeshire and that what is done here reflects the wishes of the largest possible community. By becoming a member, you can have your say and hopefully contribute your thoughts and support to a successful future.
Please see overleaf for a summary of the charity’s objectives. A full copy of the constitution can be made available if required.
If you wish to join, please complete the form attached and pass it together with your subscription to a member of staff.

To the Secretary of Pembrokeshire Mencap Ltd:

3. Objectivess
The objectivess are:
3.1 The relief of people with a learning disability, in particular by the provision of help and support for them and for their families, dependants and carers.
3.2 To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for training recreation or other leisure-time occupation for people who have need thereof by reason of learning disability with the object of improving their conditions of life.

Pembrokeshire Mencap Ltd is affiliated to the Royal Mencap Society and the Objects were drawn up for all affiliated bodies and agreed with the Chairty Commission. The Local charity is in the process of considering whether to seek amendments, but suffice to say we have operated successfully within the terms of the above objectives for over 50 years.

I have a complaint. The 'Gardener's Plate' that I was served on Bank holiday Monday was so tasty, that I couldn't leave a single morsel on the plate, therefore making me too full to try the cakes! 😂 Please keep up the good work. We love to visit every time we're home in Pembrokeshire.
